Tuition
For the 2024-2025 school year, Hanger Hall tuition for 6th and 7th grade is $15,250 and $15,700 for 8th grade. (This cost includes additional costs and fees associated with the 8th grade year including the early spring trip.) Uniforms are not included in tuition.
Financial Aid
Approximately 30% of our students receive some form of financial aid. There is a limited amount of tuition assistance each year. The deadline for families to file is April 1st, however we strongly encourage families to apply in the fall (or when the admission application is submitted). If you are unsure of your acceptance status, you are encouraged to apply anyway. You will be notified by email and also by mail. Use the link below to apply for financial aid.
How Tuition Dollars Are Allocated
- Tuition Grade 6, 7: $15,250 per child
- Tuition Grade 8: $15,700 per child
- Operating Costs: $1,182,000
- Payroll: 60%
- Office Operating: 20% (includes mortgage)
- Activities and Class Trips: 7%
- Financial Aid: 10% (Total aid offered: $120,650)
- Labor and Professional Fees: 3% (attorney, accountant, bookkeeper, blackbaud)
- Other: 3% (admissions, development, etc.)
- The gap between tuition income and expenses is made up from private support, uniform sales, application fees, summer camp revenue, and facility rental.
